Our mission is to provide the best outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. We want our patients to enjoy therapy and experience clear improvements in their health. Our clinics receive the highest levels of patient satisfaction and our patients receive the best objectively measurable outcomes. Our strategy, based on excellent quality and patient satisfaction, is gaining momentum. Since opening our first clinic in 2001, we have grown across Michigan and into Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Georgia. Team Rehabilitation is excited to offer a unique opportunity to collaborate with students in creating a work experience program. This initiative allows our therapists and technicians to serve as mentors, educators, and guides to young students as they embark on their journey toward a career in healthcare, particularly in physical therapy.
The program will involve students, who will spend one to two days per week shadowing at one of our clinics. Students have the flexibility to choose a clinic based on proximity to their residence or school, and they can opt for after-school hours. Please note that this internship is unpaid, and students are responsible for arranging their own transportation. Following their time in the clinic, students will have the opportunity to apply for a technician position if they wish.
